Italy and England will play each other again in the European Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2024, after the draw determined the groups to be contested in March. The Netherlands was paired with France.
The ten qualifying groups for UEFA EURO 2024 have been established after Sunday's draw in Frankfurt.
UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying groups
Group A: Spain, Scotland, Norway, Georgia, Cyprus
Group B: Netherlands, France, Republic of Ireland, Greece, Gibraltar
Group C: Italy, England, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Malta
Group D: Croatia, Wales, Armenia, Türkiye, Latvia
Group E: Poland, Czechia, Albania, Faroe Islands, Moldova
Group F: Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Estonia
Group G: Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Lithuania
Group H: Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, Kazakhstan, Northern Ireland, San Marino
Group I: Switzerland, Israel, Romania, Kosovo, Belarus, Andorra
Group J: Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Liechtenstein
Each group's teams play each other twice; the top two teams in each group advance automatically to the finals, where they will face Germany, the host nation. With three more spots filled through the play-offs, that brings the total number of finals spots to twenty-one.
The rules state that the 2022–2023 UEFA Nations League will choose three of the 24 seats at UEFA EURO 2024 based on play-off spots.
Twelve teams—theoretically the group winners of Leagues A, B, and C—will be chosen based on their performance in the 2022–2023 Nations League. If any of these teams have already qualified, the next-best-ranked team in their league will take their place. The following league, League D, is the final destination if there aren't enough non-qualified clubs in the current league.

How did the draw work?
The teams were divided into seven pots: Pots 1 through 6 and the Nations League pot, which included the four teams that would play in the Finals the following year. To guarantee that each of the nations in the Nations League pot had two dates available for the Finals in June 2023, they were drawn into Groups A through D in order of highest ranking.
Groups E to J saw the teams in Pot 1 drawn into the top spot. The 10 teams from Pot 2 were picked to occupy the second places in each of the ten groups. Pots 3, 4, and 5 saw a similar draw to fill spots 3, 4, and 5, respectively. The six-team Groups H through J were then selected, with the three teams from Pot 6 taking the sixth spot.
